Introducing Spindle Hill Yarn
We are thrilled to announce this labor-of-love, locally-sourced yarn we've been working on for a year & a half. Pairing up with my dear friend Elise and her darling sheep on her farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, we are proud to offer this limited, small-batch yarn.
Both collections were artfully spun at Shenandoah Fiber Mill, a solar-powered mill just outside of Lexington, using only environmentally-safe practices, to create a 2-ply light sport weight yarn that is hearty, halo-y, and positively farm-fresh. We worked closely with Susan at the mill to make sure we produced a yarn based on what the fiber wanted to be - not forcing the wool to go against its truest nature.
